Privacy Policy

Short version: your days, places and location stay on your iPhone. There is no account, no analytics SDK, no ads and no tracking. We never receive your location.

Who we are

Daysafe is made by Denis Chudinov, Singen (Hohentwiel), Germany. Contact: support@daysafe.app.

Location

If you turn on automatic days, Daysafe uses your iPhone's location in the background (low accuracy, about once an hour) to find out which country or U.S. state you are in. This happens on the device, without sending coordinates anywhere. After the country or state is determined, the coordinates are deleted; only the place and the date are kept.

Photos

If you choose "Rebuild from photos", Daysafe reads the date and place stored in your photos to find past trips. The photos themselves are not copied, uploaded or changed.

Where your data is stored

All data is stored in the app on your iPhone. It is included in your device backup (for example iCloud Backup) under your own Apple ID, as with any app. We have no copy of it. "Delete all my data" in Settings erases it from the device.

Usage events

To improve the app, Daysafe records which screens and buttons you use — without places, dates or names — and keeps these records on your iPhone for 30 days. They are not sent anywhere. If you tap "Send diagnostics", you choose where to send the file yourself.

Purchases

Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details. The app checks your purchases on the device with Apple's StoreKit; no purchase data is sent to us or to third parties.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled on your iPhone. No push server is involved.

Third parties

Daysafe contains no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs. Apple processes App Store purchases and app updates under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side. You control your data in the app. If you have a question about privacy, write to support@daysafe.app. You may also contact your local data protection authority.

Children

Daysafe is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
